Sitecopilot is available in two editions:
  • Sitecopilot Pro (Cloud): hosted by Sitecopilot or partners. Turn‑key, managed updates, and integrated Cloud Agent for AI-assisted editing.
  • Sitecopilot CE (Community Edition, Open Source): self-hosted core CMS. You can run sites fully manually without AI. To enable AI-assisted editing, CE connects to Sitecopilot Cloud (the managed AI agent & endpoints).

Architecture (high level)

  • Core CMS (tenant): pages, content, assets, settings, notifications.
  • Central domain: tenant lifecycle, tenant API tokens.
  • Sitecopilot Cloud Agent: AI orchestration (RAG, proposals, editor messaging). Both Pro and CE use this for generative features.
Data sovereignty: host the CMS where you want; AI calls go to Sitecopilot Cloud. You control when/what is sent (opt‑in per feature), and you can operate fully manual if needed.
